How we work

Mission days
Every autumn mission days are arranged over a weekend with lectures, seminars, workshops and church services around different themes, together with the International department of the Church of Sweden.
Local associations
Local associations of Women For Mission often meet each second week to learn more about the international work of Church of Sweden. They also collect money for example through sales which is channeled through Church of Sweden to women's projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
The project Women meet women has been running for some years. The aim of this project is to arrange meetings between women from different cultures and countries in order to share experiences and learn from each others. Women from Zimbabwe have been visiting Sweden and women from Sweden have visited Zimbabwe.
Collecting money
Economic support to women's projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East is an important activity. Women For Mission is collecting money in different ways during the whole year and local associations are organizing sales once or twice a year.
The web-site is a channel for information, knowledge and reflection.
News letters, Rundbrev, are sent to local associations four times a year.
Exhibitions from study tours to Central America 2003 and to Israel/Palestine 2006 are lent out for
